I’ve been collaborating with Jas Hair almost as long as I’ve been in business. I’ve always been grateful that Jayne Prigent saw a spark in me, and has mentored me so many times throughout my journey as a business owner. One of the things that inspires me about Jayne is her creative vision for her company, and I always love an email popping into my inbox from her with the latest idea for our next collaboration. She never holds back, over the years I’ve had emails from her saying ‘we’re getting a horse for this shoot’ or ‘we’re shooting three projects in one day’ but this brand shoot was a bit different.

While on a venue visit to a nearby wedding venue I shared a photo of an incredible derelict, peeling wall. The venue was in the midst of being refurbished, and this wall, rich in texture and patina was part of the building yet to be touched. When I shared a photo of it on instagram Jayne immediately got in touch to say she loved it as much as me, and so we decided to do their next brand shoot there, keeping things simple with just three models and the wall. CJ, who styles most of their brand shoots, chose outfits with tones which complemented the wall perfectly. I love the results and it’s been so awesome seeing them on billboards around Salisbury.
